The emergence of blockchain technology has sparked a multitude of transformations in the industry, leading to a diverse set of obstacles that require attention and resolution.
To foster greater human capital in blockchain, it is essential to establish a secure and inviting academic environment. To achieve this, we must begin by focusing on the largest contingent - the students.
These tracks are vital for revolutionizing industries and ensuring data security. Educating educators worldwide empowers responsible innovation with a global impact.
Why University Outreach Program?
Lookback: Pilot in Kazakhstan
The World's First Nationwide Blockchain Education Initiative
In February 2023, University Outreach Program was introduced in 22 universities and 14 regions throughout Kazakhstan. Each university is assessed based on specific indicators, including:
Academic Freedom
Employment Rankings
Educational Programs
Multi-Country Rankings
The extent of academic autonomy demonstrated by the developmental university, reflecting its ability to pursue intellectual inquiry and disseminate knowledge without undue external interference.
Universities are evaluated based on their performance in employment-related metrics, which gauge their effectiveness in preparing graduates for the job market and fostering successful career outcomes.
The availability and scope of educational offerings in the disciplines of law and information technology, indicating the institution's commitment to providing comprehensive learning opportunities in these fields.
A comprehensive analysis of universities is conducted by considering rankings from various countries, allowing for a broader perspective on the institutions' global standing and reputation in academia.
University Selection
1
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
During the initial stage of university onboarding, the management or administration of potential participating institutions is approached to establish formal participation agreements.
The significance of engaging with experienced and influential leadership within these establishments cannot be overstated.
Subsequently, the process advances towards finalizing the memorandum of understanding (MoU), delineating the terms and conditions of collaboration.

Subsequently, these faculty members undergo a comprehensive evaluation encompassing an interview process and a thorough review of their curriculum vitae. This assessment aims to gauge their competencies and knowledge, serving as a pivotal determinant of their suitability for inclusion in the program.
Upon obtaining positive results from the evaluation, the faculty member is granted admission to the program and receives an invitation to actively engage in it.
Alongside this invitation, the faculty member gains access to all relevant program materials and is facilitated in establishing communication channels with our mentors.
To initiate the process, the university administration submits a roster of potential faculty members for participation in the program.
We are committed to providing faculty with the support, resources, and guidance they need to succeed in their education.

Throughout the training, faculty members actively participate in engaging lectures and practical sessions, immersing themselves in the subject matter. Weekly assignments enable ongoing evaluation of their progress and understanding.
At the midpoint of the training, faculty members undergo a mid-term examination as an important checkpoint in their educational journey. The training culminates with the submission of a final paper, showcasing their acquired knowledge and proficiency in blockchain engineering, ensuring high-quality educational delivery and teaching preparation.
The faculty members' training begins with a 20-week blockchain engineering course designed to equip them with in-depth expertise. This knowledge empowers educators to implement blockchain curriculum effectively, creating an interactive and engaging learning environment for their students.
